Charles King Leaves WME to Create Firm for Multicultural Entertainment

I think my articles on Exodus: Gods and Kings, the Sony hack, and Ghost in the Shell say it best: Hollywood is messed up when it comes to real representation of non-whites in entertainment. Another thing it shows is that there needs to be a studio or agency that will handle films that otherwise wouldn’t get sold in the traditional Hollywood system so that new and important stories can finally get out of the script ghetto.  Enter Charles King and his new venture, MACRO.

"Sleepy Hollow" recap: "Paradise Lost"

Welcome back to the wild and zany world of Sleepy Hollow! I think the reviews on this particular episode, “Paradise Lost,” will be mixed, since on the one hand, we got a cool, no-nonsense angel character (who also wants to kill the entire world) and on the other hand, we got a lot of nonsense from Katrina, who doesn’t know how to be a human.

We’re back in the world of Downton Abbey! Yay and ugh. If you’ve read the S1-S5 primer, you’ve read all of my reasons why I feel this way.This episode was a good start to the new season, though, but I’m sure things are going to go downhill very fast.
