After a long summer hiatus, including a discussion with a writer/producer, analyzing Betsy Ross, and plenty of other fandom moments, counting down to the beginning of the third season of Sleepy Hollow! To celebrate, not only will I live-tweet the Thursday premiere, but I’ll also host my very first Periscope ever! You are all invited to attend.
Starting this Friday (Oct. 2) at 5 pm CT, I’ll give my quick opinions in the premiere and then you can ask me questions about the premiere and talk about what you loved, hated, or felt indifferent about.
I’m sure everyone will have fun discussing the highs and lows of the premiere and what might be coming down the pike, and I’ll especially see this as an experience, since this is the first time I’ve ever used Periscope. I’m excited to interact with everyone. I do want to stress that this is not an Ichabbie-centric event. Everyone, no matter if they fall on Team Ichabbie or Team Ichabod/someone else, are invited to join in the Periscope discussion and ask questions. I have my own opinions about Abbie, Ichabod, and where their relationship might go, but the goal of the Periscope chat is for us to have a fun time discussing the episode, not arguing over who Abbie will get with in the end because, let’s face it, no one’s changing their minds about their ship if they’ve already taken a side. Basically, cordiality is the name of the game here. And besides, differences of opinions are what makes conversations interesting.
